Earn from readers
Reader subscriptions built into the same platform that publishes the stories — with the paywall set separately for each masthead, and the money going to your Stripe account rather than ours.
How it works
From choosing a model to being paid for it.
Choose the model
Set the paywall per masthead: everything free, a few articles a month before signing up, subscriber-only, or free with selected stories held back. Different titles in a group can do different things.
Set your plans
Name your plans and set the price and billing period. Weekly, monthly or annual, as many as you want to offer.
Readers sign up
A reader creates an account on your site and subscribes. Checkout runs through Stripe, so card details never touch your systems or ours.
You get paid
Money goes to your own Stripe account. Each masthead can bill through its own account, which matters when titles have different owners or separate books.
Access follows the subscription
Restricted articles and digital editions are withheld by the server — not merely hidden — and released once a subscription is active. Staff always have access.
They manage themselves
Subscribers update their details, change payment methods or cancel from their own account page, without ringing the office.
